PROUD To Receive Prestigious Award

The fireworks have come a day early!

Tomorrow PROUD will be awarded a 2009 June Callwood Outstanding Achievement Award for Volunteerism by the Ontario Honours and Awards Secretariat.  This reward will be presented by the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration in recognition of thousands of volunteer hours and hard work that PROUD does to protect the integrity of our seaport's Historical Designation.

I guess there's not a lot of coordination between the Ontario Municipal Board and the Ontario Honours and Awards Secretariat, huh.
